Artist Research - Fay Godwin

Fay Godwin has photographed the aged & dramatic landscape of Britain producing a number of publications on this subject, This particular image shows a cluster of trees isolated amongst open moorland, the photographer's perspective of looking up at the subject raises the impression of it's appearance as the land slopes down towards the viewer and the trees appear taller, becoming more prominent at the centre of the frame.
