A final look at photographers of a social perspective from this time period, John Bulmer was assigned to document the evolution of industrial centres in the north of England. This particular image is also taken from a straight on angle regarding the subject, a lone pub along a desolate street with even weighting of misty space either side. The two figures either side also provide some human interest and a question could be raised as to how this land has been changed over time due to man's interaction with it. |
